Governments that choose to invest in public services and public sector workers, as the front line of defense against the COVID-19 second wave, are on the right track.
Ontario’s Fall Budget 2020 must put the $9.3 billion in federal dollars to work immediately. Break it out of the piggy bank, and put it to use saving lives in hospitals, long-term care homes, public health units and making schools safe.
We need change, but not small change. With lives on the line, it’s not the time to nickel-and-dime.
