CUPE 1600 has been on strike since May 11, fighting to protect good jobs that support both communities and quality animal care.

The Zoo, and its owner, the City of Toronto are demanding a two-tier agreement that will hurt future generations of Toronto Zoo workers.

This Friday, join CUPE 1600 for an afternoon rally in Nathan Phillips Square.
Let’s send a strong message that a Toronto Zoo that values good jobs that support communities, world-leading research, education and conservation efforts, and quality animal care is one everyone can be proud to call ‘Our Toronto Zoo.’
