BROCKVILLE, Ont. – Municipal workers at the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal reached a tentative agreement late last night in conciliation talks.  The 15 workers, represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), provide services in public works, equipment operations, parks and arenas.

“We are happy that we were finally able to achieve a tentative agreement that we will be recommending to our members,” said Wayne Lefebvre, president of CUPE 2311.02.  Terms of the agreement will not be released until it has been presented to members for a ratification vote on October 11.
