Please join us at the CUPE Ontario Women's Conference. Scheduled to coincide with International Women's Day, the theme of the Conference is "Decent Work, Decent Lives for Women."
With the realities that we face today in Ontario, across the country and around the world today, women need to come together more than ever to explore how the "austerity" agenda and the direct attack on our rights to free collective bargaining are directly affecting women's lives, and how we can fight back, community by community, from a women's perspective. We have invited women leaders to make connections to the ongoing challenge to achieve pay equity and employment equity for women, as well as to address the role of women in the Idle No More movement.
On Saturday, March 9, 2013, we will travel together to join in solidarity with other women at the International Women's Day Rally and March in Toronto.
